I all, I think many of you know about Vera Neumann. She's probably the most well known scarf designer. She also designed other things such as home decor and dishes. Her scarves vary a lot in terms of their value and aesthetics.
From her website:
"Her company began at her kitchen table in 1947 and grew into a multi-million dollar international business. All Vera products started as original pieces of art from her own hand and sported the distinctive Vera signature (often with a ladybug) trademark."
I've come across many Vera scarves in my searches and I particularly love the older 50's and 60's scarves with their mod designs and boho chic feel!
One thing that I like about them is that you just don't know what kind of price you will get for them. Some are more rare than others and there are many scarf collectors out there hunting for those.
You can see a few here in my Ebay store:
Here is one of my favorite unique Vera Scarves that I had in my collection but is now sold. I started the bidding on this one at $9.99 and it went up to $24.99. Not too bad!
Notice unique Signature on this one! |
